Betsey inherited all of her father's estate, both her siblings dying before her and each having no issue. Actually, it was left to Stephen Tilton (double portion) and to Levi. They were the only sons born at the time of the will. Caleb assumed guardianship of the teenage boys and controlled the estate. Caleb could not inherit because of the suit against his Boston business.
